As we age the loss of volume in our cheeks causes the skin to begin to sag as the cheeks flatten. Juvederm Voluma® XC adds volume under the skin to lift and contour the cheek to correct this loss of volume. The treatment provides a lasting, yet delicate lift. Results of treatment will vary, with some patients in a clinical study reporting looking up to 5 years younger six months following treatment. With optimal treatment, Juvederm Voluma® XC treatment in the cheek area has lasted up to two years, with subsequent treatment requiring less product to achieve desired results.
Juvederm Vollure XC™ and Juvederm® XC are both designed to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds (e.g., nasolabial folds).
While lotions and serums can help to reduce the surface appearance of wrinkles, Juvederm Vollure XC™ and Juvederm®XC add support under the skin to help restore a smooth, youthful appearance. The results are longer lasting as they reduce the appearance of parentheses lines, nose and mouth wrinkles, and marionette lines. With optimal treatment, Juvederm®XC has delivered results lasting up to one year, while Juvederm Vollure XC™ has produced results lasting up to 18 months.
Juvederm®Ultra XC and Juvederm Volbella® XC are designed to treat the perioral area and to augment lips.
Juvederm® Ultra XC is designed to add fullness to the lip and Juvederm Volbella® XC adds fullness to the lip and treats and softens vertical lip lines. Juvederm lip treatments are appropriate to address aging lips as well as for augmentation of thin lips. Patients report satisfaction with the appearance of their lips one year after treatment. It is interesting to note that subsequent treatments also required less product to achieve the desired results.
