In 2006, Dr. Amy Derick had a vision. She wanted to serve her patients in a state-of-the-art facility using the latest technology and use her knowledge in dermatology to provide them with the ultimate patient care. For the past 13 years Dr. Derick has done exactly that. Dr. Derick had another goal – to make dermatological care more convenient and accessible to her patients. With 10 locations in the Chicago area, there is now a facility in several convenient locations to provide that care to a growing population. Accessibility and convenience also include our expanded office hours. We are available for appointments Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 7 PM and Saturday from 7 AM to 12:30 PM in all our facilities, including Lindenhurst, located at 1025 Red Oak Lane.
Once coveted farmland, the village of Lindenhurst was named to honor two rows of linden trees near a farmhouse located on the original Lehmann family farm. Since incorporation in 1957, Lindenhurst has carefully managed its growth to preserve its small-town atmosphere and integration with the surrounding lakes, marshes, and forests. We enjoy the quaint village and the many festivals like Summerfest and Lollapalooza. There are bike trails and walking paths, plus beautiful parks and numerous options for recreation. Chicago and Milwaukee are a short 45-minute drive away for even more entertainment, shopping, and employment opportunities. We love the sense of community here and are grateful to call Lindenhurst “home.”
