How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you enter, submit, or access your personal information.
All forms on our website do not offer encryption, with the exception of our secure patient scheduling system via ZocDoc.com which is secured by HIPAA compliant Secure Socket Layer services. These systems are not intended to be utilized to request or provide Protected Health Information and is explicitly forbidden. Please contact our office by phone should you need to discuss this information.
When scheduling an appointment all supplied Protected Health Information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Database to be only accessed by those authorized with special access rights to our systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.
After a transaction, your private information (Protected Health Information, etc.) will be kept on file for more than 60 days in order to maintain protected health information, per Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act of 2009.
Do we use cookies?
